In all our facilities, wastes are separated and recorded according to their types (dangerous and non-hazardous) In 2020, 79% recovery, 18% regular storage and 3% recycling of its wastes were realized.
In 2020, 18% of textile wastes were recycled to fiber and 26% to yarn, thereby contributing to the circular economy. Reducing the amount of wastes, increasing recycling rates, and creating reuse opportunities are among our priorities.
Fetih Tekstil contributes to environmental sustainability goals by using I-REC certified clean energy in these days when we feel the globalizing climate crisis.
As a result of Fetih Tekstil’s Sustainable Development, Corporate and Supply Chain Sustainability goals, this step we have taken in line with the 17 Basic Goals of the United Nations is of great importance in terms of Accessible and Clean Energy. Our corporate policy is based on nature-conscious production and responsible consumption. In addition to these, we act with an accountability perspective towards every company we cooperate with. In line with all these movements, with I-REC, information about where our clean energy source comes from and where we use our energy will be shared with the whole public in the 2021 corporate sustainability bulletin as a result of traceability and accountability.
Fetih Tekstil carries out its collaborations with its stakeholders in accordance with the quality standards it has determined, transparently and within the framework of ethical rules.
